804 - (PLI) Pipeline Integrity - NDE Reporting & Data Analyst

NDE Reporting & Data Analyst Reports To: Director of Pipeline Integrity FLSA Status: Temp, Hourly, Non-Exempt (Overtime Eligible)  Position Summary  PROtect is seeking an NDE Data Analyst to support our growing Pipeline Integrity group. This role is responsible for reviewing inspection data and reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client and company requirements, while helping ensure deliverables are issued on time.  This position plays a key role in the quality and consistency of our reporting process. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable communicating with technicians, internal teams, and clients. In addition to data review and report quality control, this role may also support training activities, process improvement initiatives, and other special projects that strengthen the overall Pipeline Integrity program.  Safety and quality are expected to remain the top priority in all aspects of the job.  Key Responsibilities  Follow all PROtect and client safety rules, requirements, and expectations  Uphold PROtect’s core values in daily work and interactions  Review inspection data and reports for accuracy, completeness, and technical validity  Verify reports and deliverables meet client requirements, internal procedures, and established quality standards  Track assigned projects and reporting timelines to help ensure on-time delivery  Maintain organized project records and documentation in accordance with PROtect requirements  Communicate with NDE technicians to resolve data gaps, clarify findings, and support report completion  Respond to post-job client requests related to reporting and data deliverables  Prepare, edit, and finalize computerized reports and supporting documentation  Assist with quality control efforts, internal audits, training support, and continuous improvement initiatives  Support special projects and other assigned duties as needed  Required Qualifications  High school diploma or equivalent  Ability to complete required company safety and job-related training  Demonstrated ability to learn and apply procedures, methods, and tools required for the role  Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments with changing priorities  Ability to work under deadlines and deliver accurate work on schedule  Strong written and verbal communication skills  Ability to follow detailed procedures and instructions with consistency  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite  Valid driver’s license  Preferred Qualifications  Experience with NDE, pipeline integrity, or related inspection operations  Experience reviewing technical reports, inspection data, or quality documentation  Familiarity with ultrasonic inspection, magnetic particle inspection, or related NDE methods  Knowledge of pipeline integrity maintenance or rehabilitation workflows  Experience with data systems, reporting tools, or basic coding/programming  Working Conditions  Primarily office-based, with occasional field, shop, or site visits as needed  May involve interaction with field crews, supervisors, clients, and operations personnel  Some exposure to shop or field environments, including noise, weather, and changing site conditions  Occasional travel may be required  Overtime and weekend work may be required based on workload and project deadlines  Physical Requirements  Ability to communicate effectively  Ability to observe details and review reports and technical information accurately  Ability to perform computer-based work and other assigned duties  Ability to travel to off-site locations and move within office, shop, or field environments  What Success Looks Like  Reports are accurate, consistent, and delivered on time  Communication with technicians and internal teams is proactive and effective  Client requests are handled professionally and promptly  Quality issues are identified early and resolved efficiently  The reporting process becomes more organized, scalable, and dependable as the group grows  If you want to make it even stronger for hiring, I’d recommend changing the title to Pipeline Integrity Data Analyst or NDE Reporting & Data Analyst. “NDE Data Analyst” is accurate, but the market may read that as a pure data role rather than a technical reporting / quality role.  Job posting blurb:  PROtect is hiring an NDE Reporting & Data Analyst to support our growing Pipeline Integrity team. This role is responsible for reviewing inspection data and reports, ensuring quality and compliance, tracking deliverables, and supporting on-time reporting to clients.
